Essay: Embracing the Earth through Non-Verbal Hypnosis and Self-Defense Techniques
As the weather begins to grow colder, it becomes a reminder that, like the seasons, we too are connected to the natural world around us. Through the teachings of non-verbal hypnosis and self-defense, I have found a profound way to reconnect with this truth. HypnoticCafe, under the guidance of Hypnosis Creator Tamura, offers a unique approach that emphasizes the importance of harmony between mind and body, and ultimately, with the Earth itself.
One of the most fascinating aspects of Hypnosis Creator Tamura’s self-defense workshop is how it incorporates the concept of “becoming one with the Earth.” This idea resonates deeply with those who practice hypnosis, as well as those who engage in martial arts. The ability to completely relax your body allows you to sharpen your reflexes and tap into a natural strength that comes from letting go. Mastering this sense of relaxation and connection with the Earth brings a sense of invincibility that is both calming and empowering.
Recently, I attended one of these self-defense workshops and was amazed by the feedback from participants. Here’s one particularly insightful testimonial:

“I had a great time at the self-defense workshop held recently. As a student, I enjoyed learning a variety of visually impressive techniques. Each one carried with it an underlying principle of body movement, making them versatile and easy to adapt. Personally, my favorite was ‘Aiki-Age.’
What truly left an impression on me was the concept of becoming one with the Earth. I’ve always thought of myself as part of the Earth’s system, but during my daily routine, I often feel disconnected from this truth. After the workshop, I started practicing the exercises every morning, focusing on feeling like I am the Earth itself. As I do this, I try to stretch my consciousness to the universe beyond.
At home, I practiced ‘Aiki-Age’ with my wife, asking her to hold my arms tightly while I tried to apply the technique. Initially, it didn’t work well, but then, all of a sudden, she began to laugh as she was unexpectedly lifted. I thought, ‘Am I finally getting it?’ But she laughed and said, ‘Do you need to make that funny face?’ Apparently, I had been concentrating so hard on the technique that I made a ridiculous expression. There’s still much to learn, but for now, I’ll keep practicing the exercises.
I’m looking forward to the self-defense workshop in January, provided work doesn’t interfere. Thank you again for the wonderful experience, and please take care of yourself, especially during these colder months!”

This feedback beautifully illustrates how, by reconnecting with the Earth and learning to truly relax, even advanced techniques become easier to master. Whether it’s a flashy move or a subtle gesture, the core principle remains the same—relaxation. In fact, achieving true relaxation can lead to effortless execution of any technique, even if you appear a bit silly while doing it!
The key to mastery is understanding that we, as humans, are inherently connected to something larger than ourselves. Whether it’s the Earth, the universe, or the people around us, this connection enhances our strength many times over. Contrary to popular belief, becoming a master doesn’t always require years of grueling training. Sometimes, all it takes is learning the right approach—the secret, if you will.
I’m incredibly grateful for the lessons I’ve learned from Hypnosis Creator Tamura and the HypnoticCafe workshops. They have opened my eyes to new ways of thinking and living, all through the simple yet profound act of reconnecting with the Earth. Thank you once again for this invaluable knowledge.
